Browse the Gallery, enjoy dinner and fine wine, and make the experience last by staying with us at the Lime Tree. In any of our ten individual and very comfortable bedrooms, you will be able to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful stay. Many of our rooms have impressive open views of the sea loch (Loch Linnhe) and the hills beyond. Each room is individually styled and furnished to the highest standard, designed to make your stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.
The Lonely Planet Guide said of the Lime Tree
‘All its stylish, comfortable rooms are decorated with high quality paintings, drawings and water-colours of the Highland landscapes. The gallery downstairs sells some of this work. And if that is not enough to convince you, their breakfast is easily the best in town, if not Scotland'.
The original Victorian building was built as a Manse in 1850, initially for the Free Church and latterly the Church of Scotland. The rooms in this part of The Lime Tree have individual character, and most enjoy Loch views. The newer rooms extended building are more modern with a rustic style using Oak and Douglar Fir. All rooms are ensuite. Our reception desk is manned from 7.30am to 11.00pm. Outwith this period our Duty Manager and Night Porter are on site and easily contactable if you need assistance. Dogs are welcome but conditions apply.
