Lime Tree An Ealdhain

Welcome to the Lime Tree An Ealdhain

Hotel, Restaurant & Art Gallery

We offer quality accommodation in a historic 1850 former Church Manse building overlooking the Loch in the centre of Fort William in the 'Heart' of the North West Highlands of Scotland.

Whether you choose to simply relax at the Lime Tree, dine in our award winning restaurant or enjoy our spectacular mountain and sea landscape, perhaps 'bag a Munro', climb the UK's highest mountain Ben Nevis, tackle the World Championship Mountain Bike Trails, take a boat to the Small Isles or visit our local Whisky Distillery or choose to immerse yourself in the art and cultural events taking place at the Lime Tree, this family run Hotel in Fort William will provide you with the ideal base to explore all that Lochaber 'The Outdoor Capital of the UK' has to offer.

Covid  19 Safety

Unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures to ensure the safety of all visitors to the Lime Tree

We are lucky at the Lime Tree to have so much free space in our building. By using our art gallery we are able to easily surpass social distancing guidelines, keeping our customers safely apart but in a way that does not ruin the atmosphere of enjoying our award winning restaurant, art gallery and hotel.

We have also both private dining and an expanded outdoor 'beer garden bistro' area.

We have looked thoughtfully into how we can minimise touch contact at check in and check out and have designed a safe-flow procedure to ensure a minimum opportunity of close contact with other customers. This does mean limiting capacity of our lounges and public bathrooms and flow rules we ask customers to follow for their safety and for our safety.

We have implemented industry 'Gold Standard' cleaning/disinfection procedures for our bedrooms and public areas so that customers can be assured that everything possible has been done to make their stay with us as safe as possible

Open Again 26th April

From 26th April we can serve food and alcohol till 10.00pm in our beer garden. Indoors we can serve food but not alcohol until 8.00 pm
