Lovely, lovely staff. We had made a mistake about our booking and they couldn't have been nicer about it. Very accommodating about our arrival time as well. Great location, as in easy walking distance from the train station and into Fort William High Street.

Interesting Self Catering annex to the main hotel Well equipped , beds were very comfy. Fort William was busy first week of September which drives the price this was the best value accommodation i could find but overall very pleased, Book direct for the best price

The room was amazing with a beautiful view on the water. Bed was extremely comfy and shower was super good. We loved the food, the service and the whole vibe of the hotel. Also very dog friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel to other people; one of my favorite stays in Schotland!

We love the peace and clean, comfortable accommodations. We had to leave early and was provided a nice continental breakfast before catching the first train to Mallaig. Thank you for a wonderful “day one” in the highlands.

It’ was lovely. People there were really nice, especially the reception staff and the bar staff. The chefs at breakfast knew how to season the lochbar eggs! So couldn’t have faulted them 😌 although my sausage was cremated the day before but there we are😌 the coffee standard was delightful - whatever filter coffee brand was used. It was amazing. I could drink that all day. It wasn’t weak and it wasn’t Strong. It was just right.😌 My room itself was lovely, the bed was super comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. Great nights sleep. The towels were soft. The shower taps do need to be tightened so they’re able to work properly without having overly grip them - like they’re a tad loose. I didn’t complain but someone should go up and check those. The shower drain trap should also be cleaned throughly so that all hairs are gone. Also the toilet brush needs to be changed won’t go too much detail you’ll see why when you change it. Overall was a great stay with some excellent views.

a second visit -very comfortable room which was enjoyed. I assume there was a problem with the kitchen exhausts -as the hotel (including 1st floor) smelt on Saturday late evening and Sunday morning of cooked fish oil. Will return

Very friendly and relaxed.perfect place to chill

This is the best hotel and restaurant for many miles around Fort William. The accommodation is as you would expect, the staff polite and attentive without being overbearing and the food is top drawer. Best breakfast we had throughout our trip around Scotland. Add to this an amazing art gallery around the hotel then look no further than The Lime Tree Hotel for a place to stay.

I had assumed The Lime Tree would be a boutique hotel and was unsure how personable it would be (especially with a large dog). We were super happy how great our room was and how helpful, friendly and flexible they were. Staying in for dinner was a delight and really top drawer, and to top it all off, when I opened the curtains, an impressive cruise liner was moored in the estuary like a postcard! Would highly recommend!!!
